Without going into details:

I'd like at some point to leave the Yuuzhan Vong War behind for a bit and do some completely odd stories that will NOT be strictly Star Wars canon.

Would you be ok with this, or would you prefer to keep the Game Universe pure? I'm of mixed feelings, honestly -- I'd love to do it in a game, but I'm not convinced it won't rip the throat of the storyline apart.

Give me your thoughts, please.

I would love to drift from the main storyline of the SW universe. And we have done some changes already, like Kal getting IT before whoever it is gets it. and so on.

You're not understanding me. I meant radically non-Star Wars plots, not just leaving the books (I've already done that in lots of places).

And I was thinking that it would be hard to do character development with Keilara if we were focusing on the war, anyway. This might be a nice change for a bit, give me a chance to develop her some.

I cannot tell you how much I disagree with all that. Character development happens when you play your character properly. It is independent of where the character is.

Well I didn't say it was impossible. I gues what I meant was that it's harder, how's that?
And I'm not complaining, I like a challenge.

Sounds good to me. I can understand why you're of mixed feelings, but you have maneuvered the characters into story roles, and we did have that dream sequence that was very cool.

If you feel comfortable with it, then I say let's do it!

Sounds good, but the point at where we are in the story seem impractical. Corusant(sp?) has just fallen and the Jedi (Kal, Kasche, and me) have just lost many friends and loved ones. Now that we have had time for the initial shock to were off, and though offically it shouldn't, vengence and anger may be running our minds. The want to join the good fight or try desperate strikes against the Vong will be running through Nelsor's head.
